Magnets? We don't need no stinking...
This lives in a BXA tool holder, on the rack with the other tools/holders, already height-adjusted. Drop it on, lock it, spin the chuck. Zip -zip. There. The part in the 4-jaw is on center. Just about that long. Put it back on the rack and pick the cutter.
