The Pro Stop by Edge Technology is designed with the CNC machinist in mind. Its super low profile design stays completely below the top surface of the vise which means it will not interfere with cutting tool paths. It will also keep the stop rod square to the workpiece throughout the entire range of motion. This configuration provides a more consistent locating surface for increased part accuracy. After locating the workpiece the arm of the Pro Vise Stop can be rotated out of the way for total cutter clearance. The arm can then be accurately repositioned for repeat setup. A stop rod collar is also included to allow longer than usual stock lengths to be located.

- Stop rod stays parallel to the milling machine table so workpiece will contact rod face squarely for increased accuracy.

Nice product which is what I have come to expect from this company.
I am a CNC machinist and programmer. YES i have made my own work stop fixtures etc. I bought this unit to try it out. Works great. Its repeatable to .005 every time as long as you make sure the round stop on the bar is cleaned off if you are using that function. Ease of use ? Its ok. I am going to make some threaded knobs to replace the allen screws they use for adjusting the stops. { minor detail } Would I buy again ? YES I have used some of this companies products in the past and have been very satisfied with them is the reason I decided to try it.

Beefy without being too big, but doesn't take up a lot of space. Solid enough to keep the accuracy so your parts come out right every time. Well worth the money.
