The Pro Tram by Edge Technology makes the process of tramming your mill fast, easy and accurate. Tramming is the process of squaring the head of your milling machine to the table. The Pro Tram is sized to fit the bed of a 6" vise allowing you to tram directly to vise for increased accuracy. It can be used with a sine bar or sine plate to adjust the head to precise angles.

Excellent design, well made
When I first opened the box and saw how well the case was made that holds the tramming instrument I knew this was going to be good. Edge Technology has a beautiful instrument here. Its heavy and well made. The dials are beautiful and I had my new mill trammed with out any problems. I also trammed my drill presses as well lol. I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a tramming instument. Of all the things I ordered at the same time as this, this got here first!

Exactly what I needed. Very happy with the quality of this product and it worked great for tramming my CNC mill.

Calibration is tricky but otherwise good tool
Excellent tram unit and it looks good too, style points. Good job Edge Technology. Sure it is not difficult to tram without something like this although it is a pain in the ass but having this unit makes it so easy that you can do a spot check in no time if you think you twerked something. I had a crash the other day and just for grins I pulled out the Edge Tram and sure enough that hit hard enough to knock off the tram almost a thou, not major but realigned immediately. Being able to check easily when needed will help to not let bogus parts slip through. I do recommend this unit highly as it is well made, looks good, does the job and tones down one annoying procedure to tolerable levels.
