OWNER’S MANUAL
The CNC Lathe Gage allows users to quickly position cutter height for optimum cutting conditions. It utilizes a level housing that can be adjusted to match any bed angle. The precision glass vial level with 30'/2mm sensitivity ensures that cutter adjustments will be made accurately.

Level Calibration
• Position the base of the gage on a flat surface that is parallel to the bed of the lathe. The unit should be perpendicular to the axis of spindle rotation as shown.
• After loosening the adjustment screw the level housing can be rotated until the bubble is centered in the vial.
Setup
• Clamp the rod of the unit in a collet or chuck as shown.
• Position the tip of the cutter under the contact face as shown. Unit can be repositioned on rod if needed.
• For upward facing cutters use the contact face located under the bubble level assembly. (opposite of shown setup)
• Move the tool holder up or down until the bubble is centered in the vial.
